The 2007 Walk
was held on March 25th and 20 walkers from St. John participated in the
walk, raising nearly $2,000. Total money raised in the F-M Walk
this year is expected to be around $22,000.
For more than
32 years, CROP Walkers have been walking with the world. We walk with
neighbors who walk to soup kitchens and food pantries to get food they
need to survive. We walk with the world...in Africa, where more persons
will die of AIDS over the next decade than have died from all the
world's wars in the 20th century. We walk because they walk -- millions
of people around the world walk every day for food, for shelter, for
water, for survival.
